Kevin Levrone Begins Filming Third Feature Film

IFBB Pro bodybuilder Kevin Levrone began filming his third movie last month. The independent studio, 1615 The GC Media Project with Epheseus Entertainment, began production of its first feature film “I Am” on September 10, 2007 in Denver, Colorado. “I Am” is based on the screenplay by director Matt Russell and produced by Jess Stainbrook. It is scheduled for release in 2008.

Kevin Levrone plays the character of “Chaos Salaam.” The movie I AM (2008) is “the story of a young man who has always been everything to everyone. Marvin The Great Pearl is a man who is truly blessed in life and succeeds in everything he pursues; class president, valedictorian and star athlete turned global icon. He is in the midst of beginning his political career when through personal tragedy, or perhaps divine intervention, he finds that he is losing the most important thing in his life. It also happens to be the one thing in this world that he cannot control through his own power. And with the two most powerful words on the planet, I AM, Marvin is confronted with the decision of his life… and death!”

Kevin Levrone is one of the most successful professional bodybuilders in the history of the sport. Although he never officially retired from competitive bodybuilder, he has not returned to the stage since fall of 2003 where he competed in the IFBB 2003 Mr. Olympia and IFBB 2003 Show of Strength. He has since focused on his acting career since landing in Hollywood in 2005. He acquired the “acting bug” while visiting the set of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s movie, The End of Days (1999).

Kevin Levrone has played roles in the feature films as Turk in Backlash (2006) and Sante in Redline (2007). Both movies are now available on DVD.
